Yoselin Martin is an associate attorney at Tawney, Acosta & Chaparro, where she represents individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries due to the negligence of others. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate the legal process while holding responsible parties accountable. As a member of TAC’s serious injury and trucking litigation team, Yoselin has played an integral role in securing significant recoveries for clients. She was part of the trial team that obtained a $4.715 million settlement for a client injured in a semi-truck crash involving a national company. During the case, the defense challenged the severity of the client’s spinal injuries, and Yoselin helped build the evidence necessary to demonstrate the full impact of her injuries and losses. Before joining TAC, Yoselin gained valuable experience working with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and law firms in New Mexico and Colorado, developing a strong foundation in litigation, legal research, and client advocacy. Her experience includes handling complex matters involving serious auto and trucking crashes, oilfield injuries, motorcycle collisions, and wrongful death claims. Yoselin’s commitment to advocacy extends beyond personal injury litigation. While at the ACLU, she worked on civil rights matters involving federal complaints, legal research, and support for Spanish-speaking clients navigating complex legal issues. She also contributed to advocacy efforts related to the New Mexico Civil Rights Act in collaboration with national and international organizations. Fluent in Spanish, Yoselin provides bilingual representation to clients and families, ensuring they have clear communication and meaningful access to the legal process throughout their case.
