El Paso, Texas — A serious crash in West El Paso early Tuesday morning sent one person to the hospital with critical injuries. The El Paso Fire Department reported that the crash occurred around 1:06 a.m. near Mesa Street and Executive Boulevard. Emergency crews arrived quickly and transported the injured person to a local hospital in serious condition.

Officials have not released details about the injuries. However, a bystander at the scene reported that the driver lost a leg as a result of the crash.
