El Paso, Texas (September 16, 2024) — A devastating accident on Interstate 10 in Arizona resulted in the death of Emmanuel Lopez, a 16-year-old football player from Franklin High School, as well as two others.
The crash occurred on September 15, 2024, and involved Lopez’s vehicle colliding with another car in a serious incident that is still under investigation. The accident, which happened in Arizona just over the New Mexico state line, has shocked the local community and the football team.
Lopez was a rising star on the Franklin High School football team, known for his dedication and skill on the field.
