HOUSTON, Texas — A crash on the I-45 freeway early Thursday morning has left one woman dead.
According to reports, the accident occurred around 5:20 AM when a woman attempted to cross the freeway and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with officials. Police closed down I-45 at West Road for three hours during the investigation.
Traffic on the freeway stacked up while numerous other crashes were reported near the area.
