Albuquerque, New Mexico, Crash Kills One and Critically Injures Another

The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) is investigating an Albuquerque New Mexico car accident that killed one person and critically injured another. The fatal overnight crash occurred at the intersection of Eubank Boulevard and Juan Tabo Boulevard N.E. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Officers responded around 11:20 p.m. Saturday after two vehicles collided at the intersection.

The crash involved a black 2015 Audi A3 and a silver Hyundai Elantra. The Audi driver died at the scene. Emergency responders took the Hyundai driver to a hospital in critical condition.

According to APD’s Fatal Crash Unit, the Audi traveled west on Juan Tabo Boulevard while the Hyundai traveled north on Eubank Boulevard. The Audi driver attempted to turn left at the intersection and head south on Eubank Boulevard. The two vehicles then collided in the middle of the intersection.

APD continues to investigate the crash. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
