El Paso, Texas – On Sunday, July 12, 2026, two people died in a motorcycle crash involving another vehicle in East El Paso. The collision happened near the westbound lanes of Loop 375 at Yarbrough in the Lower Valley. Emergency crews received the call at approximately 6:18 p.m. and responded quickly to the scene.

The El Paso Fire Department confirmed that a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided. After firefighters secured the area, officers from the El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigations Unit took over the scene and began examining what caused the fatal crash.

Because of the collision, the Texas Department of Transportation closed all westbound lanes of Loop 375 and the westbound entrance ramp at Yarbrough while investigators documented evidence and cleared the roadway. Authorities have not identified the victims or released additional details about the events leading up to the crash.

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Officials expect to release more information as the investigation progresses.
