A serious collision occurred around 4:40 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, near Louisiana Blvd SE and Bell Ave SE in Albuquerque, New Mexico, involving an Albuquerque Police Department (APD) cruiser and at least one other vehicle. Two APD officers were transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital following the incident, though their conditions remain unknown at this time. A female driver from the other vehicle was also taken to UNMH with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities blocked off Louisiana between Trumbull and Zuni during the investigation, but the roadway was reopened around 6:25 PM. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and officials are continuing to investigate.
